6 awesome DIY inserts for Filofax A5

Buying refils for Filofax is not excite in a time when e-Bay, Amazon or original site exist, also online is so much DIY products like on Etsy. But in each inserts you may miss personalize, look like no one else has or when you suddenly notice view from someone on your Filofax, asking or not what is inside hideden. Personaly try to do it for yourself, as a hobby, finding a way how someone else did, looking for an idea. Inserts depends on mood and need, when you make relation between those two cathegory you feel enjoy and happiness. It is motivation to make new different inserts based on habits divided on month, week, day planning. Magical feeling  is to have a nootebooks inside the planner which may be as inserts or external as traveller notebook on the back side of planner or extra separated. However I prefer inserts as: To Do (have a plenty of tasks with column for when is planned to do it), Project planner for planning or put idees for considering & a lot of free squared papers on doubled size. Tools you need for is in MS: word, excel and publisher knowledge- Top priority is a quality of papers: 80g is minimum for me (not visible on back side), brighter squares or lines, if coloured brighter colour prefere.

I am a mad kind of refil & insert Filofax fashion collector, replacing it on week routine inside the planners, adorable is Personal size, proper for woman handbag home and work obligations in one planner. On summer I use smaller ring size which depends on handbag size and colour: it is Filofax daily or weekly fasion ❤
Today let me show you few A5 inserts, December month is my favorite fasion made in Word: simple, unique, awesome my summer ideas on 30C wishing some cold wind. Open space for name of the month and week, as it is made in Word, before printing is always time to put all inside of, then print and cut paper. A5 is desk size, with bigger rings for too much place for inserts, as much dashboards as it needed, plastic with washi tape girds opening place for posr-it (revolution) notes or flags.
DIY dividers is awesome too...in Word coloured,printed on sticker A4 paper and cutted on size sutable on right size of A5 planner.

What can motivated you to start with this hobby? Having a work with lots of obligations, to do priorities, tasks, meetings, or if you are organized frick. maybe a horoscope kind that try to put everithing in organizing and fixed way, or just love to make a note, perhapes like a look of Filofax, Moleskine, Evernoote, Travell notebooks..., it is for you!

On personal Filofax daily or weekly woork/home looks different, for days in week when is no so much business I wish to show to you my ideal model: in front of each page is a place for 1/2 week planns, while day S/S are smaller size red coloured. Colour of inserts depend of month (one colour for each month)

Monthly dividers coloured is DIY is challenging business, but nothing is not possible with MS, result is here, made in stickers way. Finaly, the end edges of the letters can gain weight felt-tip works expressiveness and have some comic appearance like I did this year for Personal size.

Inserts for planners is free as an idea, as picture, sale on web through many sites. I prefer to change an idea via e-mail in original way as it was prepare to left open space for friends to modify, make it better, pesonallized and unique. It may look like exchaning a pictures, but on web is available a many site on this hobby, some are official like: http://philofaxy.blogspot.hr/ thanks for you can download and print all available inserts, recommend you to shop to 70g-90g weight of papers. The reason is practical, felt pen must not break the reverse side of the paper, try to use Triple Stabilo liner 0.3mm (0.4 mm is leaving a trail of obese line for everyday use). Speaking of work/home planning it may be divided on colours, simple: black for work, blue for home, red for appointments.
